Clothing

I thought I'd mix it up a little bit....
Would the way you dress be considered a way of creating a new artwork everyday?
Women in general spend so much money on clothes (guilty as charged.)
I don't know why we do it but it seems like we are somehow wired to spend large sums of money on clothing and shoes. Especially shoes. The worst part about it is that we never wear 75% of it! But that is besides the point..
Everyday a woman spends anywhere from $60 to over $400 on clothes.
When I think about a topic like this, I only see this:

It makes you realize how overcome by consumerism that we are.

As a person, we only make so much money. Everything costs money, but you can never make enough. That's how everyone feels. But if you think about it.... There's so much more to it
You don't need to buy everything. Hence there is a word called Budgeting. If you can buy everything that you want, then you have it made. You really do.

Let me give you some examples of clothing that cost a lot but are amazing.
And then I'll give you some examples of clothing that costs a little amount but are amazing as well.

Expensive Articles:

These are the Cole Haan reflective wingtip shoes.
They are $248 per shoe and contain the patented

Nike Air Technology in them making them a very comfortable shoe. This would be considered an awesome shoe for its price because of the Nike Air Technology. Most running shoe with this technology go for $130 at minimum. Also when looking at their other products, their reflective heels are priced at $428, so I find these to be a great deal!

This is a BCBG Nevada one-shoulder cocktail dress.
It is priced at $286.
Similar products are priced at $286 or $245.
I find this item to be ridiculously over-priced. Not only because it is in the higher price point of similar dresses but the fabric is not as great as you'd think it would be. Someone will spend full price on an item like this and it will be seen as just another dress to them and that's all.

Cheaper Articles:

These are Steve Madden Ethin 2 oxfords in Brown Leather.
They also come in Grey, Tan and Black leather.
Priced at $100.
This oxford is similar to the Cole Haan oxford but is $148 cheaper and have similar style and stitching features. No, they are not reflective but if you're willing to pay an extra $148 to have reflective shoes than go for it. (P.S. they're on sale at Zappos.)

Also from the BCBG line this is the one shoulder draped dress.
Comes in two colors: purple and teal.
Priced at $118
The great part about this is that if you had your heart set on a BCBG dress, here is a cheaper version of the one above!!! Same draping, still a shade of purple. So much cheaper and still an amazing dress.

The great thing about research is that not only does is help save you money, but it helps you become more well rounded and you get to see more of what is out in the world.

Hope you enjoyed it!
